Day 4 of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Val di Sole, on Saturday, August 28th, started in the name of Austria and Tirol. A year later her triumph among Juniors at Leogang 2020, Mona Mitterwallner smashed the competition in Trentino, in the U23 race, showing great supremacy.
Behind the winner, Austria claimed second place with Laura Stigger: the 20-year-old Tyrolean finished at 2’04”. Bronze medal for Dane Caroline Bohe (+3’26”) ahead of Italian Marika Tovo (+4’03”).
