Nino Schurter wrote another page of history of the international Mountain Bike triumphing for the ninth time in his legendary career at the Elite Cross Country World Championships.
On Saturday, August 28th in Val di Sole, the Swiss rider overtook his compatriot Mathias Flückiger in the penultimate curve with a bold move. After conquering the silver medal in Tokyo OG, Flückiger took another second place. France took the bronze medal with Victor Koretzky ahead of Vlad Dascalu (Romania) and Maximilian Brandl (Germany).
