E-Bikes make up an important share of the cycling market. With the announcement of the first World Championship for electric bikes to be held in September, E-Bikes will debut in Val di Sole as part of the Mountain Bike World Cup weekend.
Organized by Grandi Eventi Val di Sole in collaboration with Shimano, the first edition of the Electric Snake is scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd.
The riders face a circuit located in the Four-Cross area of the Bike Land in Daolasa di Commezzadura, just one month after the first historical edition of the World Championships.
Blake Snake’s founder Pier Paolo “Pippo” Marani has designed a fast circuit of 1500 meters, made notable by the ascent of Power Hill which is followed by a very technical descent. The Electric Snake promises an intense battle among the competitors from the first to the last kilometer, one that’s sure to produce a spectacle for the fans.
On Saturday, August 3rd, the program starts with the preliminary operations (14h-16h), followed by the warm-up (16.45-17.45), the race (18.30) and finally, the award ceremony (19.30).
