The Italian brand, currently a partner of the Union Européenne de Cyclisme (UEC) as well as apparel sponsor of many road cycling’s World Teams, chose Val di Sole for an important showcase on the Mountain Bike universe
Val di Sole welcomes another important cycling brand in its family in view of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Finals, to be held in Commezzadura from September 2nd to 4th, after signing a partnership with Giant last April.
Alé Cycling, the World-famous Italian brand with a 30-year history for crafting custom cycling apparel, chose Val di Sole to become a partner of an event of the Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, the greatest Mountain Bike series in the World.
Located in Bonferraro di Sorgà (Verona), Alé Cycling boasts partnerships with World-renowned teams and organizations, from the UEC (Union Européenne de Cyclisme), the French Cycling Federation, to an important road cycling event like the Tour of the Alps, as well as three road cycling’s UCI World Teams: Bahrain-Victorious, Groupama-FDJ and Team BikeExchange.
Thanks to the agreement with the Val di Sole Tourist Board and Grandi Eventi Val di Sole, Alé Cycling begins a new path in the MTB World together with the only Italian UCI Bike Region, able to organize three editions of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in less than 15 years (most recently in August 2021).
“The grand finale of the MTB season couldn’t have a better location than Val di Sole”, argued Alessia Piccolo, CEO of APG, the managing group for Alé Cycling. – “Val di Sole is a wonderful territory, a paradise for the MTB lovers and a very important showcase for Alé. We are pleased to break on the international Mountain Bike scene with an event of global prestige”.
“Alé Cycling is a top brand in the cycling World, capable of great results in the international market”, said Val di Sole Tourism Board and Grandi Eventi Val di Sole’s President Luciano Rizzi. – “We are excited to start a new path with this brand. We felt their enthusiasm for our international project and a bike destination like Val di Sole, an elected land for international cycling events as well as a perfect territory to discover by bike”.
