On Saturday, September 3rd, during the Grand Finale of the Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, the youth event will return to Val di Sole after 4 years. Children will race on a short XC course, just feet away from their heroes
Another event adds to an intense 2022 Mercedes Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Finals’ weekend in Val di Sole, from September 2nd to 4th. On Saturday, September 3rd at 17:15 CET, after the DH competitions, kids will take the center stage at the Giant Mini World Cup.
The non-competitive XCO event reserved for kids from 2 to 12 years old returns after four years. The young riders will compete on a short Cross-Country ring, whose length will be adjusted from 350 to 550 meters according to the age categories.
Kids of the youngest categories can be supported by their parents during the race. All the riders must use an approved helmet, while pushbikes and balance bikes are also allowed to compete. After the races, the participants will receive a gift on the official podium of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup.
The registration to the Giant Mini World Cup is free: pre-registration is mandatory on the official website www.valdisolebikeland.com by Thursday, September 1st.
