The 6th stage of the 4X Pro Tour circuit, scheduled in Val di Sole on Friday, September 2nd, was suspended and subsequently neutralized, by the unanimous decision of the athletes, following an accident involving Czech athlete Anna Slancova. The race was ended with a non-competitive run of all the athletes, without a final classification.
Anna Slancova suffered a trauma when crashing to the ground during her run. The athlete was immediately rescued by the health personnel of the event, and stabilized at the medical center, before being transferred by helicopter to the Santa Chiara hospital in Trento.
In the next few hours, the athlete will perform clinical and radiological diagnostics. Grandi Eventi Val di Sole sends its best wishes to the athlete for a speedy recovery.
The 7th round of the 4X Pro Tour circuit will take place, as scheduled, in Daolasa on the evening of Saturday, September 3rd.
