From 29 June to 2 July, Val di Sole will host UCI Mountain Bike World Cup dedicated to sustainability, also receiving the Eco-Events label from the Province of Trentino.
Numerous measures have been put in place by the organizing committee of the World Cup in Val di Sole to protect the surrounding environment, enhancing its beauty and peculiarities.
WATER, A RESOURCE FOR THE TERRITORY
Water represents a precious good for the whole world and in particular for the Val di Sole, so much so that the logo of the World Cup is inspired by the theme of water and its centrality in history of Val di Sole.
Among the concrete measures implemented, the water of the Val di Sole, famous for its important mineral qualities, will be available free of charge, thanks to the creation of two wooden fountains, one with a hollowed-out trunk and the other with three plugs on each side which are also accessible to the public.
WHET YOUR APPETITE WITH TRENTINO PRODUCTS
Gastronomic proposals with local products and the aromas and flavours of Trentino cured meats and cheeses. Waiting for the races and the champions, in the 'food & beverage' area of the World Championships you can tempt your palate with genuine, high-quality Trentino products.
The menus will also include vegetarian and vegan dishes and the renowned cheeses of the Caseificio Presanella.
STOP WASTING
Avoiding waste is another objective of the World Cup in Val di Sole. For this reason, take-away containers will be available at the World Cup refreshment points.
If you can't consume all the food, please don't throw it away: you can take it home.
