Once again, for the 2023 MTB World Cup (29th June – 2nd July), the Val di Sole Tourist Board and Grandi Eventi Val di Sole have arranged a rich program filled with side events
The UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Val di Sole is a one-of-a-kind show that goes way beyond the champions' achievements, as it merges the sportive soul of the Valley with an audience longing for a great atmosphere. And those who have been there know it well.
Ahead of the MTB World Cup, to be held from June 29th to July 2nd in Daolasa di Commezzadura (Trentino, Northern Italy), the organizers have unveiled an intense panel of side events. The Val di Sole Tourist Board and Grandi Eventi Val di Sole have designed a varied show, ranging from Four-Cross events to entertainment for the kids, not to mention the party evenings with fun and music.
The atmosphere will spice up on Friday, June 30th, starting from 9.00 PM (all times CEST), with the Four-Cross and its acrobatic tricks under the spotlight. For many years, this discipline has found its promised land in Val di Sole, and its spectacular format, consisting of elimination runs followed by the final, is always sought after by the thousands of fans on the route who appreciate the Four-Cross Val di Sole Night.
After that, it will be time for some fun with the One Horse Band first, bringing some alternative rock, ska, and post-punk vibes to the crowd. Later on in the evening, DJ Alessandro Costa will keep up the energy with more music for the Val di Sole Bikeland Party.
On Saturday, July 1st, from 5.00 PM, following the Downhill races on the legendary Black Snake, the program features the Val di Sole Cross Country Mini World Cup. Here, the protagonists will be kids from 2 to 12 years old, together with their families. The youngsters will have the chance to ride on a short Cross Country track that partially crosses the official one of the World Cup.
At 6 PM, the center stage will be for Andrea Maranelli's Bikeflip Show, with plenty of tricks and stunts, followed by the RockaBike Fest and Kate Klein's concert, bringing her energetic punk rock all the way from London.
"It will be a week of celebration, thanks to an all-around event that involves the feats of the greatest champions and creates an unforgettable atmosphere. Once again, we have put together many side events that are destined for all fans, from kids to adults," said Val di Sole Tourist Board and Grandi Eventi Val di Sole Director Fabio Sacco.
"Val di Sole is not only a premium destination when it comes to sports but also in terms of hospitality, nature, and food and wine experiences. And everything is very close to the race field in Daolasa: the perfect chance to experience it all," Sacco concluded.
