ESO Sport-Warner Bros Discovery has announced the 2024 UCI Mountain Bike World Series calendar. The fixture in Trentino is scheduled for June 14th to 16th, six weeks prior to the Paris 2024 Olympic races
The 2023 season has just concluded, but the Mountain Bike community is already buzzing with anticipation for the events of the upcoming Olympic year. ESO Sport-Warner Bros Discovery unveiled the stages of the 2024 UCI Mountain Bike World Series, including the confirmation of the iconic event in Val di Sole, Trentino.
Next season, the Italian UCI Mountain Bike World Cup event will take place from June 14th to 16th in Daolasa di Commezzadura, hosting the Cross Country, Cross Country Short Track, and Downhill disciplines.
The 2024 UCI Mountain Bike World Series calendar will showcase 14 venues spread across 10 different Countries. Grandi Eventi Val di Sole and the Val di Sole Tourism Board will host stage 8, at the heart of the upcoming season, just six weeks before the Paris 2024 Olympic races.
"The Val di Sole event remains a cornerstone of the MTB season in this exciting new phase of the World Cup, and we take great pride in this," said Luciano Rizzi, President of Val di Sole Tourism Board and Grandi Eventi Val di Sole. "Over 15 years of international events, we have accumulated valuable experience, adding an extra layer of assurance for Mountain Bike enthusiasts that they will witness an unforgettable show."
As we look ahead to the future, Val di Sole is gearing up to welcome the 2023/2024 UCI Cyclocross World Cup in Vermiglio's San Leonardo Lakes on Sunday, December 10th. For the third consecutive season, top athletes in the discipline are set to tackle a unique race set against a backdrop of snow-covered terrain.
