Warner Bros Discovery has released the schedule for the world's top mountain bike series. Val di Sole, Trentino, will host a round in the heart of the 2025 season, paving the way for the eagerly anticipated 2026 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in the region
With the Paris 2024 cross-country events concluding the Olympic cycle, top-level mountain biking enters a new era. The 2025 season promises significant changes, including new rules and an exciting clash between emerging talents and seasoned champions. While the sport continues to evolve, one constant remains: Val di Sole Bikeland will continue to feature prominently in the next Olympic cycle, cementing its status as a cornerstone of elite mountain biking.
The 2025 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series calendar includes Val di Sole from June 20th to 22nd. Daolasa di Commezzadura will host Olympic Cross Country, Cross Country Short Track, and Downhill events. This kicks off an exciting two-year period for Val di Sole, culminating in the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships (August 26-30, 2026) - the region's fourth time hosting this prestigious event in nearly two decades.
The 2025 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series will span 15 venues across 10 countries. Grandi Eventi Val di Sole and the Val di Sole Tourism Board will host the eighth stage of the series, a pivotal event in the heart of the season.
Luciano Rizzi and Fabio Sacco, President and Director of Grandi Eventi Val di Sole and the Val di Sole Tourist Board, stated: "We're gearing up for two intense years. Our goal is to further strengthen Val di Sole's international reputation as a premier destination for cycling and outdoor activities during the summer months. Years of hosting top-tier events have established Val di Sole as a mountain biking mecca, significantly boosting our region's profile on the global stage."
